Hi, I am Tejaswini from Mumbai.

Welcome to my blog. Make yourself at home.

Don’t hesitate to explore, poke around, or raise your voice.

I am a reader, a lover of books. As a kid, I cherished my little story books with the ‘moral of the story’ at the bottom of the page. The first book that my cousin +Sagar Kulkarni gifted to me was Swami and Friends. This was when I was ten. Swami and Friends was responsible for initiating me in the habit of reading. And of course, after that, the endless trips, first to my cousin’s book shelf, and later to the library began.

Over the years I have learned, have been moved, liberated, and inspired by the books I have read. In this blog, I write from the point of view of the everyday reader, a reader who is forever grateful to all those who sat up in their corners well into the night and painstakingly wrote their masterpieces. These writers have helped, with their stories people like me sitting in their miserable, dark corners.

In the words of Descartes, ‘The reading of all good books is like conversation with the finest men of the past centuries.’

So, I will review books, not with the sharp eye of a critic, but with the loving eye of a loyal reader. But yes, if something doesn’t appeal to me, I will say so, too.

Through this blog, I wish to share the beautiful experience of reading, and to find fellow readers in the process.

Feel free to email me on thethinkeist@gmail.com for queries, comments and/or book review suggestions. Or use the section below.

Thank you for reading!
